Guru Guru is a great Hindi word and which means teacher//Mentor in English ? No Not exactly and that’s why Guru is being imported in English and is used frequently now . Guru for me is a combination of Master + teacher , which means a person who is Master of the subject and Teaches to the followers . In Indian mythology Guru has a special status equivalent to God . In Sanskrit below "Guru Brahma , Guru Vishno , Guru Devo Maheshwara Guru Sakshat para brahma , tasmein shree guru devo namah" It means Guru is like the Top 3 God of Hindu Mythology , God (Brahma) who is architecture of the Nature , Vishnu ( God who cares for the nature) and Shiva ( God who destroys so it could be rebuilt) and thus I stand before him , but I greet my Guru first .
